In this role, you will take on the key strategic HR function at our plant, part of a Global Organization. We are looking for a Strategic HR Manager Germany to provide at our client's production plant comprehensive advice and support for senior management and executives on all matters relating to HR, organisational structure and employment law. In this role you will be actively involved in shaping organisational, cultural and leadership development processes

We are looking for a sparring partner on an equal footing on topics such as leadership, performance, collaboration, workforce planning and change management, able to develop trust-based collaboration with internal stakeholders and the works council, to provide support for growth, change and restructuring processes at the site.

Your Major Responsibilities

HR Strategy, Processes & Further Development

• Further developing and ensuring sustainable HR structures, processes and policies
• Responsibility for the standardisation, digitalisation and professionalisation of the HR landscape
• Leading and contributing to strategic HR projects (e.g. HR processes, systems, staff development, employer branding)
• Contributing to succession, talent and staff development programmes
• Competency matrix
• Compensation & Benefits
• Managing incentive schemes (MBOs and commission models)

Recruiting, Training & Employer Attractiveness

• Strategic responsibility for recruitment across the entire end-to-end process
• Development of modern recruitment strategies, active sourcing approaches and employer branding initiatives
• Ensuring a professional onboarding process and a positive candidate experience
• Management and development of vocational training (technical and commercial), including training marketing and external partnerships

HR controlling & international interfaces

• Development, maintenance and refinement of meaningful HR metrics, reports and dashboards
• Contribution to personnel cost, budget and forecast planning
• Formulation of well-founded recommendations for the Executive Board and management
• Close collaboration with the Group’s Head Office HR team in the role of a local HR Business Partner
• Regular coordination with Head Office Controlling regarding metrics, budgets and HR standards

What we are looking for

• A completed degree or equivalent qualification with a focus on human resources, business administration, business psychology or a related field
• Several years’ relevant professional experience in a senior HR role with a strong business partner approach
• Proven experience in advising and supporting executives and senior management
• Excellent knowledge of employment law and works council law
• Experience in medium-sized, manufacturing or internationally oriented companies is an advantage
• Analytical thinking, strategic strength and a strong hands-on approach
• Excellent interpersonal skills, integrity, assertiveness and empathy
• Very good written and spoken German and English
