commencing on 1 September 2026. We are offering a fixed-term part-time position (50 %) for 3 years. Full time employees are required to teach 4 hours per week during the semester.
Your tasks:- This position is tied to working towards a doctorate
- Collaboration in research and teaching
- Imparting specialist knowledge to students and instruction in the application of scientific methods
- Carrying out independent research
- Collaboration in the infrastructure of the Studer working group
- An above-average university degree (master's/diploma/state examination) in chemistry.
- Good command of written and spoken English is required.
- Experience and knowledge
- in research in the field of organic chemistry
- in standard analytical methods (e.g., NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, IR)
- in standard laboratory techniques (e.g., working under protective gas)
is required.
- Theoretical and practical experience
- in the allylation of arenes
- in total synthesis of natural products
- in the field of photocatalysis
- in the reductive desulphonylation
is required.
