This presents an exciting opportunity to develop and shape the finance organization from its foundation. Therefore, we are looking for a Global Functional Process Owner Book-to-Report / Record-to-Report (B2R) | Asset and Project Accounting with the following objectives:You own the global B2R | Asset- and Project Accounting Finance processes, which include the project accounting lifecycle from the initial financial evaluation until the execution of the financial project start-up and project closure, as well as asset accounting processes and lease accounting according to IFRS 16.You establish and maintain global standards for B2R | Asset- and Project Accounting processes, ensuring these are aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements across the coatings division.Moreover, you oversee the asset and project accounting activities, identify and drive process improvement opportunities, leveraging technology and digital solutions to enhance automation, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the finance organization.Furthermore, you manage a third-party business process provider in the area of Asset- and Project Accounting and implement process performance KPIs to steer the service provider.You collaborate closely with related functions such as project engineering, Purchase-to-Pay and General Ledger Accounting, you coordinate integration efforts and ensure holistic alignment of accounting processes.In addition, you engage with internal stakeholders to ensure that Asset- and Project Accounting processes meet business needs and support strategic objectives.WHAT YOU OFFERuniversity degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; additional certifications such as CMA or CPA are an advantageat least 10 years of work experience in financial process management and optimization, with a strong focus on Asset- and Project Accounting activities in a multinational corporationexperience in the chemicals industry or a related industry, particularly during transitions or carve-outs, is highly beneficialstrong understanding of accounting processes and process optimization methodologiesproficiency in SAP R/3 and S/4, process mapping tools, and advanced MS Office skillsexcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environmentfluency in English is requiredWHAT WE OFFERAt our Münster site, employees have access to our on-site fitness center “Freizeit” with an integrated physiotherapy practice, dedicated occupational physicians, the company restaurant “Auszeit” including a café bar, the bilingual company daycare center “LackiKids,” and the holiday program “LackiKids on Tour.”To support both professional and personal growth, we offer a wide range of local and global development and career opportunities.At Surventis, diversity is more than a commitment—it is part of who we are.
